Hi y'all!  What a busy last few days!!

Our office was closed on Friday, but I did not allow that to affect my mindset of what needs to be done!
That good ol' alarm still woke me up at 4am.  I proceeded to forcefully shovel in the breakfast I have to eat as pre-workout.  IT.IS.HARD.AS.HADDIES to eat that early.  But I get it down and honestly I can tell my workouts are more productive than when I was just drinking a protein shake.

I hit the gym parking lot at 4:43am like every other day and I whipped Leg Day #2's hiney!!  Then because I had the time, threw in an extra 30 minutes of cardio.  I really do wish I had that extra time every morning because this is exactly how I felt when I left......

ENERGY THRU DA' ROOF!!!

Headed home to shower, get ready and go get my nayol's done.  Nevemind that I knew I'd be doing some deep cleaning on the boat this weekend.  EPIC.FAIL!
They look hideous!!
(What's she wearing?  Brown khakis at 2 am?? She sounds hideous!   Hahahaa)

After a quick grocery trip I headed home to unpack, grab my sexy man and head to the marina for the afternoon to get the boat summer ready.  It was overcast a bit and the temps were great...perfect cleaning weather.  Then...he threw a kink in my plans....he decided he wanted to get our corn planted.  It would go faster if I helped, he said and then we could go to the boat when we finished, he said.
5 hours later, 2 damaged nayols and whole lotta fussin' and cussin'...we finished.
25 rows of corn, 50 feet wide, planted...by....hand!

Needless to say at 5pm when we finished, the thought of even walking down the ramp to the boat brought on agony.  We just wanted to shower, sit and chill.  I have no clue what my calorie burn for that day was but I wish I had thought to keep my Polar FT7 HRM on!

Saturday morning, as usual, up at the bootie crack of dawn, but I passed on the gym and chose to use my boat cleaning seesh as my cardio for the day.  Cleaner, Rubber Gloves, 2 double rolls of paper towels and 4 hours later...I had a sparkling clean boat but unfortunately....my body was reminding me that I am not a spring chick!  My back hurt the rest of that day. I had back surgery, a lower lumbar laminectomy, in 2008 and my back is the first thing that warns me I've done too much.  So my answer to that was....catch some rays on the back of that boat and rest!!

Great day on the water, Hubs did some fishing while I did some sunning.
From this point forward until about the 3rd week of September, this is where you will find us at least 2 afternoons a week and every weekend.  We are true blue river rats!

Sunday I spent Easter at my sisters house with our family.  With this being Boog's first Easter it was just a bit more special!  He is growing way to fast.  Time could slow down just a bit!

Hitting the gym is as usual in the morning and then tomorrow is a vacay day with the Hubs to do a little fishing, little bit of sunning and a whole lotta relaxing!!

Have a beautiful afternoon!
